Instead we bought a very decent chrome-look oscillating fan for $50 at Kmart. And then spent the remaining $350 at Ikea on two kitchen islands, a chest of drawers and a desk. Sorry, Dyson. You lose. Fair point. It is a bit steep, if you compare it to other fans. But it WAS more effective than your average fan.
